Phyllostachys bissetii ​

A fast-growing, hardy bamboo, bissetti is one of the first to produce new canes each year. Their habit is mainly up right but do have a slight curve. They are most commonly green, although some may have a purple tint that will eventually fade to a yellow-green. Foliage is a deep, glossy green and ideal for being used as a screen. Recommended to be planted in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained soil.
